JDG completes Superintendent of Documents search for the GPO

JDG and the Government Publishing Office are pleased to announce the selection of Scott Matheson as GPO’s new SuDoc. Scott has 20 years of experience leading library public- and technical-services units and managing significant IT projects. For the past decade, he has been a member of the senior leadership team of the Yale law library, providing expert advice on collection-support and systems operations and how they impact researchers in a complex, multi-library environment. His longstanding interest in government information developed from teaching legal research and grew through participating in collaborative research, policy work with library associations, and training new information professionals. He earned his M.P.A. from the University of Connecticut as well as his M.L.I.S and J.D. from the University of Washington.
