JDG completes search for PPPL’s Head, ITER Project

JDG and the Princeton Plasma Physics Lab are pleased to announce the selection of Dr. Ravinder Bhatia as its new Head, ITER Project. Dr. Bhatia is a senior leader with three decades of global experience in international science and technology collaborations. He brings broad technical expertise in multiple areas, with a deep knowledge of scientific research and international relations. He is skilled at working with technical, business and legal teams to make international collaborations work. Dr. Bhatia has proven success in private sector, start-up, and nonprofit organizations. He is exceptionally accomplished in operating at the nexus of science, technology, and international relations. He previously worked at Thirty Meter Telescope International Observatory and the National Academies of Science. Dr. Bhatia earned his Ph.D. in Physics and Aerospace Engineering from The University of London.
