JDG completes search for AOC’s Director, Project Management Division

JDG and the Architect of the Capitol are pleased to announce the selection of William Grip as its new Director, Project Management Division. Bill possesses 35+ years of experience directing complex engineering and construction programs in organizations from 5 to 1100, budgets measuring hundreds of thousands to hundreds of millions, programs supported at the individual project level up to $9 billion to build a new U.S. Marine Corps base, uniformly exceeding expectation. He is an innovative leader who routinely improved safety, financial management, staffing, and facility engineering at every turn, embraced the challenge of complex and unexpected with zeal. He is skilled at incorporating the intricacies of historic preservation into all levels of projects. Bill is an Acquisition professional responsible for project and program execution ranging from simple maintenance projects to large scale recapitalization initiatives. He earned a Masters in Civil Engineering/Construction Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
