JDG completes 3 key searches for the Architect of the Capitol

JDG and the Architect of the Capitol are pleased to announce the selection of David Wilder as Superintendent of the House Office Buildings, Stephanie Jones as Superintendent of the Senate Office Buildings and Kirk Nelson as Deputy Superintendent of the House Office Buildings.

Mr. Wilder, possessing a Master’s in Architecture from the University of Michigan, has most recently been Regional Director for the Department of Veterans Affairs Construction and Facilities Management and served in the US Air Force in a variety of roles. He is an innovative senior leader with twenty-eight years’ experience leading large diverse teams in the Facility Management profession.  He is adept at planning, programming, design, construction, operations and maintenance, property acquisition and divestment for private sector and government organizations. 

Ms. Jones is a professional engineer with over 30 years of experience leading planning, environmental, engineering, acquisition, facilities management, and construction organizations. With a Masters in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M, she recently left the Department of Energy’s Office of Project Management. Prior to DOE, she led Inspector General professionals in the execution of investigations, command inspections, and audit programs across the 18,000-person Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) worldwide enterprise.

Mr. Nelson, possessing a MBA from Boston University and a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington, most recently served as the Director of the Engineering and Logistics Division at the White House Military Office. He has over 28 years of experience in successfully leading large complex organizations with international programs in facilities planning, maintenance, and construction with budgets in excess of $4 billion and over 1,300 people.
