JDG completes search for the Director of Geothermal Technologies Office within the Department of Energy

JDG and DOE are pleased to announce that Dr. Susan Hamm has been selected as the Director for the Geothermal Technologies Office (GTO).  Sue has worked for nearly a decade at the National Science Foundation, where she served most recently as the Directorate Operations Officer for Mathematical and Physical Sciences. Sue also has experience at the Department of Homeland Security and in the intelligence community.  In addition, she has served as an advocate for professional science societies and as a legislative assistant on Capitol Hill.  Sue holds a Ph.D. in Material Sciences from the University of Minnesota and a Masters in Geophysics.
