JDG completes Chief Scientist search for the GAO

JDG and GAO are pleased to announce the selection of Sterling Thomas as its new Chief Scientist. Prior to joining GAO, Mr. Thomas was the Chief Scientist/Deputy CTO at Noblis for the past 4 years. He is a senior research scientist with strong experience in human disease, molecular pathology, Big Data analytics, and computer programming. His projects have ranged from developing human diagnostics to developing financial algorithms for equities markets. He has managed several laboratories and research teams. He has direct experience with small businesses and startups, non-profit research institutions and academic research laboratories; including acquiring start-up funds and peer-reviewed grant submission. He earned his MBA from the Columbia School of Business.
