The Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute retains JDG to recruit its next President and CEO

JDG Associates, Executive Search Consultants, has been retained by the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) to find its next President and CEO. Based in Chicago, IL, PCI is the leading technical institute and trade association for the precast, prestressed concrete industry in North America, advancing precast concrete solutions through rigorous standards, plant certification, education, research, and market development. Reporting to the Board of Directors through the Executive Committee, the President and CEO serves as the principal liaison between PCI’s volunteer leadership and professional staff, ensuring alignment between governance priorities and organizational execution. PCI is seeking a visionary, collaborative executive to advance the organization’s mission, strengthen member engagement, expand industry influence, and position this financially strong association for continued growth and impact. Keys to success in this role include:

  • 10–15+ years of executive leadership experience with responsibility for organizational strategy, operations, finances, and staff management.
  • Experience in association management (i.e., trade associations, professional societies, or related membership-based organizations) working with boards of directors, volunteer leadership, and diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Proven success leading high-performing teams while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, inclusiveness, and service.
  • Knowledge of construction, building materials, engineering, manufacturing, or related industries is desirable.
