Angela Goehl
Angela Goehl brings over twenty years of diverse experience to JDG Associates. She has worked in a variety of roles in academia, non-profits, the federal government, and the legal profession. Most recently, Angela was a Career Advisor in the Office of Career and Professional Development at The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law. In this role, Angela counseled attorneys and law students in making career transitions, traditional and alternative legal careers, and career professional development, while also partnering with employers to identify and recruit students and alumni of the law school.
Prior to entering the field of executive search and professional development, Angela was an attorney in a campaign finance and election law firm where she represented a major political party, non-profit organizations, political advocacy groups and litigation clients. After working at the Federal Election Commission and as Associate Corporation Counsel for the American Cancer Society, Angela brings the value of problem-solving, relationship building and strong communication skills to assist her clients in their unique searches.
Angela is well-versed in the areas of government affairs, nonprofit management, fundraising, and recruitment of high-level executives and attorneys in the federal government, associations, nonprofits and the private sector. Angela received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science cum laude from Western Illinois University and a Juris Doctor from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law.
