SVP of Research and Economic Analysis search completed for Nareit

JDG and the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (Nareit) are pleased to announce the selection of Dr. Edward Pierzak as its new Senior Vice President of Research and Economic Analysis. Prior to joining Nareit, Dr. Pierzak was the Director of the Corky McMillin Center for Real Estate and a faculty member of the finance department in the Fowler College of Business at San Diego State University (SDSU). Prior to SDSU, Dr. Pierzak spent over 20 years in the institutional real estate investment management industry. His professional experience included portfolio management, thought leadership, data analytics, strategy & research, and client-facing roles. Throughout his professional career, Dr. Pierzak spent considerable time meeting with investors and consultants both domestically and abroad. He earned his Ph.D. in finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his research has been published in academic journals and distributed as white papers throughout the real estate industry.
