JDG completes Director, National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled for the Library of Congress

JDG and LOC are pleased to announce the selection of Jason Broughton as the new Director, NLS for the Blind and Print Disabled. Mr. Broughton most recently served as the State Librarian & Commissioner of Libraries for the Vermont Department of Libraries. He had demonstrated experience crafting departmental wide solutions, process improvement, and library services. He was a thoughtful leader working with key stakeholders focused on strategic planning, resource utilization, development, and compliance. Mr. Broughton earned his Master of Library and Information Science from the University of South Carolina as well as a Master of Science Public Administration from the University of South Florida.
