JDG completes Chief Data Officer search for the GAO

JDG and the Government Accountability Office are pleased to announce the selection of Diane Schmidt as its new CDO.

Diane is an experienced data and technology strategic senior leader with more than 25 years of experience guiding business data functions, governance, analytics, change management, operations, and technology programs for several of the world’s most important financial services firms. 

Diane has successfully led significant culture changes for business operations and transformation programs at Freddie Mac, the United States Treasury, and the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG).  Her experience setting up and managing a diverse global workforce and critical enterprise transformation programs are unique. She has been trusted to drive enterprise programs that have renovated legacy organizations into industry-recognized leaders.

Diane earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Mary Washington, a Master of Science from Marymount University, and a Ph.D. in Computer and Information Science, focusing on Information Quality, from the University of Arkansas, Little Rock.
