JDG completes Chief Investment Officer search for the FRTIB
JDG Associates is pleased to announce the hiring of Mike Jerue as the new Chief Investment Officer (CIO) at the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board. Having previously served as the Deputy CIO, Mike was responsible for overseeing policy and execution for the Thrift Savings Plan, one of the largest defined contribution retirement plans in the world. He supervises a team of financial analysts, leads annual asset allocation reviews for Lifecycle Funds, and coordinates complex programs including securities lending and investment manager due diligence. With more than 20 years of experience spanning federal service, institutional investment management, actuarial consulting, and military leadership, Mike has successfully led major portfolio transitions, launched new fund offerings, and developed innovative data-driven tools to enhance investment decision-making. A Harvard Kennedy School Senior Executive Fellow and CFA Institute Chartered Financial Analyst, he brings a rare combination of technical expertise, strategic vision, and leadership. His work has delivered measurable impact for millions of federal employees and service members, from optimizing fund allocations to improving operational efficiency and participant communications.
