JDG and the International Bottled Water Association (IBWA) Announce Jeremy Pollack as its new Vice President of Government Relations

JDG and the IBWA are pleased to announce the selection of Jeremy Pollack as IBWA’s new Vice President of Government Relations. Jeremy brings extensive government affairs experience spanning trade associations and Capitol Hill. His leadership and advocacy expertise will be invaluable as IBWA continues to advance the interests of the bottled water industry at the federal, state, and international levels.

Prior to joining IBWA, Jeremy served as Director of Government Affairs at the Water Quality Association (WQA), where he oversaw the association’s U.S. federal legislative and regulatory agenda and managed international, regional, and state-level advocacy. At WQA, he led the association’s government relations efforts, representing the industry before elected officials, regulatory bodies, and coalition partners. He also managed the government affairs team, budget, external consultants, and the association’s Political Action Committee.

Before WQA, Jeremy held a key role at ASHRAE, a global organization with over 50,000 members, where he served as the chief liaison to Congress and federal agencies on issues including resiliency, energy, water, sustainability, and COVID-19 guidance. He also directed ASHRAE’s global affairs, building strategic relationships with embassies and international stakeholders.

Jeremy is known for spearheading high-profile initiatives such as Congressional Fly-Ins, the Water Resources Summit, and state-level advocacy events designed to enhance industry visibility and influence. He has fostered strategic partnerships with allied organizations to amplify advocacy efforts and build consensus on shared policy goals. He earned his BS in Political Science from the University of Colorado Boulder.
