NCART retains JDG to conduct Executive Director search

JDG Associates, Executive Search Consultants, has been retained by the National Coalition for Assistive and Rehab Technology (NCART) to find a strategic, mission-driven leader to serve as their Executive Director. NCART is a national membership association representing the suppliers and manufacturers of Complex Rehab Technology, the individually configured wheelchairs, seating, and positioning systems that people with significant disabilities rely on for mobility and independence. Reporting to the Board, the Executive Director will lead the Association’s federal and state advocacy strategy, serve as its primary spokesperson, and unite a diverse membership of providers, manufacturers, clinicians, and consumer partners behind a shared agenda. Keys to success in this role include:

• Experience leading a nonprofit or trade association, along with sound financial management on a lean budget.
• Proven success influencing public policy at the federal and multi-state levels; direct Hill lobbying experience is valued but not required.
• Strong relationship-building, consensus-building, and negotiation skills across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Experience in healthcare, rehabilitation, or medical technology is preferred but not required.
