USRA retains JDG to conduct search for its VP Program Development and University Engagement
JDG Associates, Executive Search Consultants, has been retained by the Universities Space Research Association (USRA) to find its Vice President, Program Development and University Engagement. USRA, a $111M independent, nonprofit research corporation comprised of 116 major global research universities and employing approximately 300 staff, is helping to enable the study of the universe from ground, airborne, and orbiting observatories; the study of Earth from space-based and airborne platforms; the study of our solar system; the development of leading-edge technologies for spacecraft and aviation; and the human exploration of space.
The VP, Program Development and University Engagement is responsible for leadership and integration of several corporate-level functions including university relations and governance, business development, public policy advocacy, and external communications. This new position was created to better align these functions and exploit synergies between USRA’s governance model, involving 116 major global research universities, and USRA’s business development efforts.
