The Architect of the Capitol retains JDG to conduct 3 executive searches
AOC has retained JDG to identify its Director, Project Management Division; Deputy Director, Project Management Division; and Assistant Director, Facilities Planning Branch.
The Director, who sets the vision for the Project Management Division, is responsible for advising the Chief Engineer on large project delivery relating to new and historic buildings. In addition, s/he will assist in balancing the needs of stakeholders including AOC jurisdiction executives, congressional leadership/staff, and oversight and appropriations committees.
The Deputy Director, Project Management Division manages projects, budgets, and resources, including monitoring design, construction and fiscal progress as well as enforcing all technical and administrative provisions of construction and design contracts. The Deputy Director also evaluates performance of internal/external resources.
The Assistant Director, Facilities Planning Branch, located in the AOC’s Office of the Chief Engineer, will provide leadership and general direction to the branch utilizing experience in facilities management, master planning and architectural design.
