JDG commences search for Princeton Plasma Physics Lab’s ITER Department Head
JDG Associates, Executive Search Consultants, has been retained by the Princeton Plasma Physics Lab (PPPL) to find its Department Head for the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) project. PPPL, a world-class fusion energy research lab managed by Princeton University for the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Science, is dedicated to developing the scientific and technological knowledge base for fusion energy. As PPPL’s ITER Department Head, the selected candidate will direct the design and fabrication of ITER’s Diagnostic Systems for which the U.S. is responsible. This dynamic and exciting opportunity will allow the successful candidate to be an influential part of the world’s largest fusion experiment. Moreover, s/he will be able to grow and advance international research initiatives, lead engineering projects, and influence the most complex fusion facility ever built.
