JDG commences search for the Register of Copyrights for the Library of Congress
JDG Associates, executive search consultants, has been retained by the Library of Congress to assist in finding the next U.S. Register of Copyrights (the Register). Reporting to the Librarian of Congress, the Register is the Director of the U.S. Copyright Office, the principal federal agency that administers the provisions of the U.S. Copyright Act and its related laws set out in Title 17 of the U.S. Code. In this role, the Register will advise Congress on national and international copyright issues and related matters as well as provide information and assistance to other federal agencies and foreign government officials.
