JDG begins search for the Assistant Director, Architecture and Preservation at the Architect of the Capitol
JDG Associates, Executive Search Consultants, has been retained by the Architect of the U.S. Capitol (AOC) to assist in finding its Assistant Director, Architecture and Preservation Branch. Located within the AOC’s Planning and Project Management division, the Assistant Director (AD), Architecture and Preservation Branch will provide leadership and general direction to the branch. The AD will serve on multi-disciplinary, in-house projects and resolve specific issues regarding architectural design and historic preservation for projects under the jurisdiction of the Architect of the Capitol. S/he will also be responsible for chairing and conducting the AOC Architectural Review Board, and monitoring, coordinating and reporting on in-house design and task leader efforts.
