IRS retains JDG to conduct 3 key executive searches

JDG Associates, executive search consultants, has been retained by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to find 3 key executives: Director, Cybersecurity Architecture and Implementation (DCAI), the Director of Technical Integration (DTI), and the Associate Director, Enterprise Digitalization (ADED).

Reporting to the Associate Chief Information Officer for Cybersecurity, the DCAI leads the establishment and implementation of critical policies and procedures to strengthen security across all IRS applications and systems. As a senior leader, the DCAI oversees a team of 150 and a budget of approximately $100M. Acting as a strategic advisor, the DCAI directly contributes to the IRS being able to effectively administer the nation’s tax system.

Reporting to the Associate Chief Information Officer for Application Development, the DTI is responsible for providing technical leadership and communication across the applications portfolio and engages with other functional ACIO areas.  With a staff of approximately 150, the Director drives technical strategies, ensuring clear direction at every stage of the Software Development Life Cycle, including driving progress for Agile and DevOps practices across Application Development.  As a senior IT leader, s/he will identify and close technical gaps to align with the IT Strategic Plan and the IRS’ Technology Blueprint. 

Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Digitalization, the ADED leads digital transformation and innovation initiatives across the IRS.  In working in conjunction with the CIO, the ADED creates, implements, and sustains modernization projects that drive efficiencies and generate value for taxpayers and IRS employees.
