FRTIB retains JDG to conduct CFO search
JDG Associates, executive search consultants, has been retained by the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board (FRTIB) to assist in finding its Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The FRTIB is an independent federal agency responsible for administering the federal government’s Thrift Savings Plan, a participant-directed retirement savings and investment plan for 6.7M federal employees and members of the uniformed services with over $750B in assets and widely considered to be one of the best-defined contribution plans in the world. The CFO will lead a staff of 30+ and serve as an expert on financial issues, formulating and implementing the Agency’s budget, leading and directing all Agency accounting operations, overseeing and managing all external auditing functions and managing Agency contracting operations.
Keys to success in this role includes experience:
- Planning, directing and overseeing a broad range of financial management programs and functions.
- Providing expert technical advice, guidance, leadership, and consultation to senior Agency officials on complex and critical financial management programs and issues.
