Search for Executive Director of the Marine Technology Society completed

JDG and MTS are pleased to announce the selection of Kevin Traver as its new Executive Director.  Mr. Traver brings over 20 years of experience and documented success in advocacy, individual and corporate membership development and fulfillment, strategic planning, communications, marketing, event management and government relations.  He most recently served as Vice President, Corporate Affairs and Development for the Navy League of the United States – promoting the needs of the Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard to Congress and the American public.  In this role, he built networks across maritime, naval, shipping, transportation, national security, manufacturing, veteran support groups and business groups.  Over the past five years he has grown the Navy League’s Sea-Air-Space Exposition, the world’s largest naval and maritime exposition, by building relationships with non-traditional defense organizations and companies from multiple sectors.  He is an accomplished spokesperson, including platforms in business development, public events, television and print media, and Congressional testimony.  Mr. Traver earned his Master’s in History from the University of Connecticut.
