Joe DeGioia

Joe DeGioia, President and CEO of JDG, founded the firm in 1973. Under Joe’s leadership, JDG has become a premier executive search firm, adapting over the years to meet changing client needs.

When JDG was founded, the Firm focused on recruiting mid- and senior-level IT professionals. In the 1990s, the Firm moved into the association/non-profit arena; then a decade later, JDG was awarded a place on the GSA Schedule and has since developed into a leading provider of senior talent to the Federal Government. Today, JDG is comprised of three practice areas: the private sector and government contractors; trade associations and professional societies; and the public sector at the federal, state, and local levels.
Joe has developed an extensive network of “friends of the firm” and the breadth of his contacts enables him to quickly respond to client requests. His “community” includes professionals in the areas of management consulting, quantitative research, healthcare, environment, energy, finance, economics, information technology, acquisition, and business development.
There are a number of quality executive search firms in the Washington, DC area, but none has the longevity and continued success as JDG. Joe takes tremendous pride in his Firm and his profession.
