Client: Prestigious Management Consulting Firm
Responsibilities:
Provide support to Department of Defense (DoD) clients with analyzing operational capability issues related to IT functionality, integration, and interoperability issues. Perform research, analysis, and visualization design support related to requirements traceability, portfolio management, and programmatic risk and health. Apply effective communication and listening skills while working in a fast-paced, highly flexible team and client environment.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience with Object Oriented Programming (Java)
- Experience with algorithm theory and data structures
- Experience with relational databases, including Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and Access
- Experience with writing SQL queries
- Experience with Rich Internet Application Frameworks, including FLEX, AJAX, Silverlight, or ActionScript
- Experience with object relational mapping tools, including Hibernate or TopLink
- Experience with some form of graphing library
- Experience with the development of applications for scientific visualizations
- Experience in a rapid prototyping environment
- Knowledge of Model-View-Controller (MVC) or other design patterns
- Secret Clearance Preferred
Education: BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field preferred
Location: Navy Yard – Washington, D.C.
Compensation: $80,000 – $105,000
