IT Strategy Manager (Public Sector)

Requirements:

- Minimum of 6 years experience
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of how an IT organization operates in alignment with a client’s business processes. Thorough knowledge consulting with federal agencies and departments.
- Knowledge of IT governance structures, IT governance processes, IT policies and standards as well as IT organizational structure, IT job descriptions, and IT skills and competencies.
- Experience in change management, enabling technology, and program delivery.
- Experience with project management, software implementation, and application development preferred.
- US Citizenship required
- Active ‘Q’ or ‘L’ clearance preferred; Active Top Secret or Secret clearance with investigation completed within last 3 years highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

Identify and address client needs: building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement; communicating value propositions; managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collections; and preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials. You will supervise teams to encourage improvement and innovation as well as coaching/mentoring staff.

Education:

Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree required.
Masters of Science in IT, Engineering, Math, Computer Science or MBA preferred.
Project Management Professional (PMP), CMMi, ITIL v 3.0, COBIT, FEAF, TOGAF, PMBOK, ISO certifications preferred.

Location: Rockville, MD and McLean, VA

Compensation: $120,000 – $130,000
